The Extreme Aerial Bowfishing Experience is an action packed adventure with the originators of the sport. Outdoor television personality Chris Brackett and his crew will teach you the finer points of shooting silver carp out of the air, then invite you to join them on the Illinois River near Peoria, IL where they will put 60,000+ fish in the air each day. You don't have to be an avid archer to enjoy the Extreme Aerial Bowfishing Experience. The Brackett Outdoors crew is accustomed to teaching archers of all skill and experience levels. There is nothing comparable to the excitement of thousands of silver carp flying out of the water all around you.

We run from June 16th through August 25, weekdays and some weekends. cost of $1000 per boat up to 4 people per boat for six hours of fishing. We have two boats available each day.
All bowfishing equipment is provided, and we can accommodate both right and left handed shooters.

Get a few dates in mind that work for your group and give us a call or email to check availability of your date(s) of choice. After confirming your date is available we ask that you send half ($500 Deposit) of your trip cost as a deposit to lock in your date. Prime dates fill quickly, so don't delay! Get your date reserved, and be ready for one of the most unique experiences of your life!

How long will we be on the river?
Each trip lasts six hours on the river.
Do I have to bring 4 people?
You do not have to have 4 people. However, part of the fun of the Extreme Aerial Bowfishing Experience is being able to sit back and watch the action from the front of the boat. Many of our clients enjoy using the baseball bat on fish that jump near the front of the boat, or simply watching their companions battle the fish at the back of the boat. And, aside from lowering the cost per person, extra shooters give you, at times, a much needed rest from drawing the bow.
Where is the nearest airport?
We have an airport in Peoria that connects to many of the major hubs around the country. And, if you can't find a flight into Peoria, the airport in Bloomington, IL is only 40 minutes away and is also a good option.
Is there much to do in Peoria?
Yes. Peoria is the home of Caterpillar tractors and sees a lot of visitors year round. There are plenty of excellent places to eat, and many things to do and see in Peoria. Much of which is located in the same general area of downtown Peoria, so you won't have to go far to find a good time. If there is anything in particular you are looking for, simply ask us and we will point you in the right direction.
Can you point me to a good hotel?
We have discounted rates at the Four Points by Sheraton in downtown Peoria. It is a very nice hotel and is within walking distance or a short cab ride of many of Peoria's attractions.
What if I have to cancel my trip?
If your trip must be cancelled for any reason, your deposit is non-refundable, but we will make every effort to reschedule your trip for a future date. Whether it is within the same year or a much later date, we will work with you to make sure you still get your trip.
